CenterPiece Cakes owner, Marcia Puri, was chosen to be one of twenty-six people from around the world to teach at the International Cake Exploration Societe' Convention in San Diego. Other notibles teaching at the show include Michelle Bommarito, a regular on the Food Network Challenges, Roland Winbeckler, whose cake sculpture of Princess Diana was seen in newspapers worldwide. Debbie Brown, a best selling author of numerous children's cake books, and Ruth Brennan, owner of Cake Attelier, whose show was featured on Amazing Wedding Cakes for a number of seasons.
